HubSpot Unveils 'Growth Context' Platform Overhaul at Unbound 2026
At its Unbound 2026 conference, HubSpot announced what it describes as its most foundational product release, introducing a Growth Context framework, a self-updating CRM, a redesigned Breeze Assistant, Marketing Studio public beta, and new advertising integrations including a first-of-its-kind ChatGPT Ads connection.
HubSpot used its Unbound 2026 event to announce a sweeping set of platform updates it describes as its "most foundational product release," centering on a new concept called Growth Context — a unified store of business, customer, and team data intended to power every AI capability across the platform.
Growth Context and Context Home
HubSpot defines Growth Context as essentially everything captured and stored in the HubSpot Customer Platform about a business and how it works. The company says this context feeds all agents, capabilities, and the new Breeze Assistant. A new interface called Context Home gives users a single location to view and manage that context, including business profile, brand kit, technology stack, competitors, products and services, ideal customer profiles, and sales methodology.
HubSpot says it tracked the performance of Professional and Enterprise customers using this context versus those not using AI, and reported that those using Growth Context create 3.6 times more marketing-qualified leads, win 3.2 times more deals, and close over twice as many support tickets. The company describes the underlying requirement as "a specific, dynamic understanding of your business, customers, and your team."
Self-Updating CRM and Breeze Assistant
A new self-updating CRM automatically captures every email, call, and meeting and syncs it to the platform, removing the need for manual data entry. The redesigned Breeze Assistant moves beyond a question-answering tool; users can now instruct it to create campaigns, reports, or proposals, with the assistant pulling in relevant HubSpot agents to carry out the work. HubSpot says a study of customers using the Breeze Assistant in June and July 2026 found that it helps generate 2.2 times more leads.
Marketing Studio Now in Public Beta
The Marketing Studio, previewed approximately a year prior, has entered public beta. HubSpot says it is helping customers create 81% more campaigns, based on the average number of campaigns created across all subscriptions. The Studio is described as a consolidated hub for campaign performance, answer engine optimization (AEO) visibility scores, conversion paths, and team task assignment.
Advertising Integrations, Including ChatGPT Ads
HubSpot announced it is the first CRM to integrate with ChatGPT Ads, enabling marketers to build, manage, and measure ads directly within HubSpot. Contacts converting on an ad can be routed to a HubSpot landing page and enrolled in automated workflows. Microsoft Advertising and Reddit Ads have also been added to the platform's existing advertising integrations.
Separately, OpenAI and HubSpot announced a joint AI Growth Bundle for small to medium-sized businesses, offering HubSpot Starter and credits at up to 65% off for one year, a buy-one-get-one-free offer on ChatGPT Business seats for a year, and a $750 match on ChatGPT Ads spend for new accounts opened by September 30.
Sales Tools Update
Sales teams received a new Mobile Notetaker and a revamped Deal Progression feature that takes call transcripts, identifies CRM updates, drafts follow-up communications, and keeps deal plans current. The Prospecting Agent has also been updated and can now monitor over 40 buying signals, create buying groups, and draft personalized emails.
Analyst Perspective
Diginomica analyst Barb Mosher Zinck noted that while Growth Context is "definitely important information for AI to operate properly," it requires time to populate and regular maintenance. She also observed that similar context is likely provided to AI agents in competing platforms in different ways, questioning whether it represents a true differentiator for HubSpot. On the Breeze Assistant, she noted that it "asks a lot of questions as it does its work," adding that users who want AI to operate more autonomously "still need to wait."
