# ZoomInfo launches Agent Teams after acquiring DoubleO.ai, no new contract required

*ZoomInfo acquired agentic orchestration platform DoubleO.ai on September 30, 2026, and made its Agent Teams product available inside GTM Studio the following day with no new SKU or contract required. The multi-agent system is designed to run complex sales plays reliably, including tracking former champions to new accounts, but independent reliability data beyond a single customer reference remains limited.*

ZoomInfo announced on September 30, 2026 that it had acquired DoubleO.ai, an agentic orchestration platform founded in 2024. One day later, the company made Agent Teams — built on DoubleO.ai's orchestration architecture — available inside its GTM Studio product, with no new SKU or contract required for existing customers.

According to ZoomInfo's launch announcement on Business Wire, Agent Teams uses a **"real-time evaluation architecture"** in which each agent holds its own role, instructions, and tools, and passes context from every prior step to the next agent. Actions are determined by the current state of the account record rather than a fixed script.

ZoomInfo founder and CEO Henry Schuck framed the rationale for the approach in the announcement: *"Revenue doesn't follow a flowchart. Champions change jobs, deals stall, and buyers come back months later."*

DoubleO.ai CEO Derek Osgood said the company was built to run complex workflows reliably, every time. The acquisition brings that orchestration capability under ZoomInfo's roof alongside what the company calls its GTM.AI headless context layer.

## How the agent plays work

ZoomInfo's launch materials describe two example plays. In the first, Agent Teams responds to a former deal champion moving to a new company. The agents confirm whether the new employer is already a customer and whether it fits the seller's ideal customer profile, reconstruct what the champion did in the original deal, identify the new buying committee, and draft outreach drawing on the prior relationship. In the second play, the agents activate once a deal is closed-won. In both cases, agents share context from every preceding step.

The launch materials describe drafted outreach rather than automatically sent messages, though how each customer configures that control will determine how quickly the plays move from RevOps testing into day-to-day use by individual sales representatives.

## Strategic context

Citybiz described the deal as extending ZoomInfo's strategy from supplying go-to-market data and intelligence toward using that information as context for AI systems that carry out broader revenue workflows. Dealroom noted that as agents move into daily workflows, *"reliable enough to run"* is becoming the test that decides which vendors win.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, according to reporting by Citybiz and Investing.com.

## Customer evidence and open questions

Caroline Burnett, sales operations leader at Silverfort, said in the launch announcement that Agent Teams allowed her to scale RevOps and improve both the quality and results of her GTM work. That represents the only named customer reference in the available launch materials.

Because Agent Teams coordinates agents across a company's systems, security and data governance teams are relevant stakeholders in any evaluation, not only sales operations. Questions about which records agents can access, whether particular accounts can be excluded, and how outreach approval is configured are all relevant for companies with sensitive deals or regulated customers.

ZoomInfo's own launch materials identify the gap it aims to close: agent projects that remain in a single person's workspace and never reach frontline sales representatives. The company stated that Agent Teams is available now inside GTM Studio with no new SKU or contract required for existing ZoomInfo customers.
